Fawkham

Fawkham is a village and civil parish in the Sevenoaks District of Kent, England. The main settlement in the parish is Fawkham Green, which is 2 miles (3 km) south of Longfield and 1 mile from Brands Hatch motor racing circuit.

Fawkham is 8 miles (13 km) from Gravesend, 8 miles (13 km) from Dartford and 12 miles (20 km) from Sevenoaks. It is on the northern edge of Sevenoaks district, near its border with Dartford district. It was formerly in Dartford Rural District along with the neighbouring parishes.

Longfield station was called Fawkham Station until 1961.

The 12th-century parish church is dedicated to St Mary; the ecclesiastical parish is part of the united benefice of Fawkham and Hartley. The M20 motorway crosses the parish.

In medieval times the parish was part of Axstane Hundred.
