Faryab (Persian: فارياب, also Romanized as Fāryāb, Fārīāb, Fariyab, Pārīāb, Paryāb, and Pāy Āb; also known as Shahmorādi-ye Fāryāb)[1] is a city in and the capital of Faryab County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,508, in 971 families.[2]
