Faruj County (Persian: شهرستان فاروج) is a county in North Khorasan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Faruj. It was separated from Shirvan County in 2004. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 48,743, in 12,947 families.[1] The county has two districts (bakhsh): Central District and Khabushan District. The county has one city: Faruj.
