Farhad Rahbar

Farhad Rahbar (Persian: فرهاد رهبر, born 1959 in Semnan) is an Iranian economist, academic and the current Chancellor[1][2][3][4][5] of University of Tehran.[6] He received his Ph.D in Economics from University of Tehran.
Previously, Rahbar was a head of Management and Planning Organisation of Iran. He has also worked as the Deputy for economic affairs at the Ministry of Intelligence.
As of February 2008, he is the president of University of Tehran, replacing Abbas-Ali Amid Zanjani.[7]
