Farbod

Farbod is a Persian/Italian Name which refers to an ancient Persian figure known to be the keeper or protector of the glory. The name dates back to before the Arabic invasion of the Persian Empire. Many Persian families gave this name to their male children after the Revolution as a statement of resistance to the Islamic regime. According to Shahnameh, "BAD" OR "BOD" suffix comes after each word to show ownership to it. For example "SEPAH" means army, " SEPAH BAD " phrase in Persian means someone who is in control of an army, equivalent of English word general.
