"Fade" is a song by Staind from their 2001 album Break the Cycle, released as the third single from the album in late 2001. It was the last song played on MTV before turning to CBS´s broadcast following 9/11. The song has become one of the most definitive hit singles of Staind's distinct sound.
Chart performance
It became the second highest charting single from Break the Cycle on the Billboard Hot 100, when it peaked at #62. It also charted on the Modern Rock Tracks and Mainstream Rock Tracks lists, at #4 and #3, respectively.
Music video
A music video was made for the song, directed by Marcus Raboy.
