Faction is an uncensored rock, punk, hip hop, and heavy metal music mixed channel on Sirius Satellite Radio channel 41[1] (previously 28), XM Satellite Radio channel 41[2] (previously 52, replacing Fungus 53 on November 12, 2008) and Dish Network channel 6041. Until February 9, 2010, it was heard on DirecTV. It is also one of five alternative rock channels on Sirius XM Radio (the others are Alt Nation, 1st Wave, Lithium and Sirius XMU).

The station plays such popular acts as Avenged Sevenfold, Green Day, A Day to Remember, The Devil Wears Prada, NOFX, Beastie Boys, The Bronx, Sublime, Bring Me The Horizon, Ramones, Parkway Drive, Eminem, Wu-Tang Clan, Cypress Hill, Onyx, Sick of it All, CIV, Insane Clown Posse and others.

Faction is also home to The Jason Ellis Show, Radio Bam, The Mosely Method with Johnny Mosely, Marky Ramone's Punk Rock Blitzkrieg, Do It Yourself Radio, Tony Hawk's Demolition Radio, The Cosmic Commander's Sonic Reduction, and hourly FU's (Faction Updates).[3]
