FK Zvezdara (Serbian Cyrillic: Š¤Šš Š—Š²ŠµŠ·Š“Š°Ń€Š°) was a football club based in Belgrade, Serbia. It merged into FK Srem Beograd in 2002.

During the 1990s and early 2000s, the club had a questionable pedigree with rumours of mafia-type activities continuously attached to its leadership - controversial businessmen Miodrag "MiÅ”a" NikÅ”ić and Branislav "Trojke" Trojanović.

The duo ran the club with NikÅ”ić initially performing the president role. When he got murdered in 1995, Trojanović took over by himself.

Following the 2000-01 season, in which FK Zvezdara finally gained the much sought promotion to the First League of FR Yugoslavia (the country's top flight), Trojanović was murdered on July 21, 2001.[1][2]
