PFK Dinamo Samarqand is an Uzbek football club, based in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
History
FK Dinamo Samarqand is one of the oldest clubs of Uzbekistan. The club was founded in 1960. Later club started to play in one of regional zones of Soviet Second League. In 1992 club played in Uzbek League under name Maroqand Samarqand. 1994 and 1998 seasons club competed in First League. The 2000 season was successful: Dinamo Samarqand was runners-up of Uzbek Cup, losing in final against FC Dustlik and finished league 4th which is highest ranking of club.
