FC Ekibastuzets are a Kazakhstani football club based at the Shakhtyor Stadium in Ekibastuz. Founding members of the Kazakhstan Super League. They have missed only three seasons of the competition: In 2000 withdrew because of financial reasons, in 2002 in the First Division because of relegation and in 2008 because of disqualification for non-sportsmanship performance in previous season.
