Féthi Harek (Arabic: فتحي حارك; born October 21, 1982) is an Algerian footballer who plays for Ligue 2 side SC Bastia.
Early years
Harek was born in Oullins, France, to a family originally from Tlemcen, Algeria.
He started his playing career as a striker for various amateur sides such as AS Saint-Priest, FA L'Île-Rousse Monticello and Rodez AF. In 2006/2007, he helped Rodez win promotion to the French 3rd division. His performances did not go unnoticed and he was signed at the end of that season by Bastia.
International career
Harek received his first call-up to the Algerian National Team for a friendly against DR Congo on March 26, 2008 in Paris, France.[1] He made his debut at halftime, replacing Salim Arrache on the left wing.
