Ezra Graves

Ezra Graves (1809 - January 8, 1883 Herkimer, Herkimer County, New York) was an American lawyer and politician from New York.

Life

He was First Judge of the Herkimer County Court from 1845 to 1855 and from 1860 to 1863, also Surrogate from 1847 to 1855 and 1860 to 1863.

He was delegate to the 1856 Republican National Convention. In 1858, he was Temporary Chairman of the Republican state convention.

In 1872, he was elected an Inspector of State Prisons, being in office from 1873 to 1875.
