Eydehavn is a village area in the municipality of Arendal in Aust-Agder county, Norway. The population of the village area (2001) is about 4,080 people.[1] It is the former administrative centre of both Moland and Stokken municipalities. Both municipalities have since been incorporated into Arendal. The village is located about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) northeast of the city centre of Arendal, about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) south of Strengereid, and just across the Tromøysundet from Kongshamn. The village is named after Sam Eyde, the Norwegian engineer and industrialist. The local sports team is IL Sørfjell.[2]
