History

Exhibio Digital Signage was first designed and implemented in 2001 for a communication enhancement at the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority bus station terminals. The project included a display messaging system for bus drivers, to incorporate route changes, up to the minute weather conditions, and other sensitive information. Working closely with NFTA, Exhibio created a web-based content management solution to be managed by their receipionist and subsequently brought to market.
In 2001 Exhibio Version 1.1 and brand launched into the digital signage marketplace, which is now known as the Exhibio X-Series Digital Signage Engine. Now, on Version 3.2, the system has new features for content management, scheduling, serial controls, custom zones, and widget content creation.
In 2008, Exhibio brought to market an introductory digital signage device, M-Series MultiMedia Player, for full screen looping content playback. The product offers looping media playback, with layered support for content.
In 2009, Brunswick Bowling & Billiards and Exhibio Digital Signage announced an exclusive partnership, integrating Brunswick Scoring systems into the Exhibio API. International Bowling centers are offered a full integrated out of the box solution for digital signage.[1]
