Exeter is a character created for the CrossGen universe. He is a major character found in the comic book Scion, first as an enemy of Prince Ethan, later as an ally.

Character details

Exeter appears as a huge, leathery skinned humanoid who wields two double-bladed axes (one in each hand). Exeter is the most famous bounty hunter in the Raven lands, he tracks down all types of people and humanoids. When Prince Ethan first escapes from the Raven castle, Prince Bron hires Exeter to track him down and bring him back.

Exeter is defeated several times by Prince Ethan. In their last battle, Exeter shatters Ethan's blade but then Ethan calls upon the power of his Sigil to create a blade of energy which is able to cut through metal (like a Lightsaber) and with this weapon he defeats Exeter. However, he does not kill Exeter.

Exeter has a change of heart and he goes to find the refuge place which Princess Ashleigh has helped create for the lesser races in the Raven lands. He arrives to find the refuge is under attack and though he fights for them, the refuge is destroyed and all are slaughtered, except him. Ethan and Ashleigh arrive soon after to find a grim and wounded Exeter standing in a field of bodies. Exeter tells them what happened and asks if he can join them, they agree.

Later they discover that Exeter is part of a Raven experiment in creating a new breed of super warriors. The secret laboratory is destroyed by them. Exeter becomes a loyal and valuable companion.

Exeter is seemingly unkillable though he is not gifted by a sigil.
