Evgeni Borounov (born 10 June 1979 in Moscow, Russia) is a Russian ice dancer who currently competes for Australia. He previously competed for Lithuania on the junior level with partner Svetlana Kulikova. He immigrated to Australia in 1999 and married Australian Maria Borounov in 2002.[1] The two are the 2007 Australian national champions. They train at Cockburn Ice Arena in Western Australia. They have participated in the Four Continents Championships since 2006. Their highest placing was at the 2009 Four Continents and 2011 Four Continents, where they placed eleventh place. As of the 2011 Four Continents, they are ranked 49th in the world by the International Skating Union.
