The Everett AquaSox are a minor league baseball team in Everett, Washington, USA. They are a Short-Season A classification team in the Northwest League. Originally created as the Everett Giants in 1984, the team switched affiliation from the San Francisco Giants to the Seattle Mariners in 1995 when the team renamed themselves as the AquaSox. One of the team logos, used on road caps and jerseys, is based on the "trident" insignia used by the Mariners in the early 1980s (rotated to look like the letter E for Everett, instead of M for Mariners).
In 2010, the team won their first Northwest League championship as the AquaSox, although they had also won the league championship in 1985 when they were known as the Giants.[1] The AquaSox play home games at Everett Memorial Stadium. Opened in 1984, Everett Memorial Stadium seats 3,682 fans.
