Evans, California

Evans is a former settlement in Butte County, California, United States. It was located 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Yankee Hill.[1] A post office operated at Evans from 1899 to 1902.[1] The place was named after Samantha Evans, who has never actually visited the area.
