Evan Mehdi Fournier (born October 29, 1992) is a French professional basketball player who currently plays for the Denver Nuggets of the NBA. He played junior basketball at INSEP academy from 2007 to 2009.[1]

Professional

In 2009, Fournier joined JSF Nanterre of the LNB Pro B for the 2009–10 season. In 2010, he joined Poitiers Basket 86 of the LNB Pro A for the 2010–11 and 2011–12 seasons.

Fournier was selected with the 20th overall pick by the Denver Nuggets in the 2012 NBA draft. He then joined the Nuggets for the 2012 NBA Summer League and in 5 games averaged 14.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals in 31.2 minutes per game.[2] On July 11, 2012, he signed a multi-year contract with the Nuggets.[3]

He re-joined the Nuggets for the 2013 NBA Summer League.[4]
