The Eggplant Borer (Euzophera osseatella) is a species of snout moths in the genus Euzophera. It was described by Treitschke in 1832. It is found in Great Britain, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, Croatia, Greece, Cyprus,[2] Syria, Israel and North Africa.
The larvae feed on Potato,[4] egg-plants[5] tomato and pepper. Young larvae bore into the stem, down toward the root.[6]
