Europa | Fira is the name of a station in the Barcelona Metro and FGC commuter train networks, on fare zone 1. It's located underneath Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes by Plaça d'Europa and Carrer d'Amadeu Torner in the municipality of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, in the metropolitan area of Barcelona. One of the newest additions to the Llobregat-Anoia FGC service, also known as Metro del Baix Llobregat, it opened on May 13, 2007, and is expected to be part of future TMB metro line L9. The station is fully adapted to the needs of disabled people, including four lifts among its features. It can be accessed from both sidewalks of Gran Via. Its originally proposed name was Amadeu Torner, in reference to the street of the same name.
