Eurhopalothrix is a genus of ant in the subfamily Myrmicinae.[1] Baroni Urbani & de Andrade (2007) proposed a synonymization of the tribe Basicerotini, including Eurhopalothrix, with Dacetini and that all basicerotine genera be placed in the single genus Basiceros.[2] There is currently variable acceptance of Baroni Urbani & de Andrade's reclassification.[3]
