Eugene "Pooh" Jeter III (/ˈdʒɛtər/; born December 1, 1983)[1] is an American-Ukrainian professional basketball player. A 5'11" point guard, he is a naturalized player for the Ukraine national basketball team with his naturalized name being Yudzhin Dzheter (Ukrainian: Юджін Джетер). He played for the Sacramento Kings during the 2010–11 NBA season.[2]
In 2013, Jeter helped the Ukrainian national basketball team qualify for the FIBA World Cup for the first time since the Soviet Union broke apart by being the team's leader in assists during the 2013 EuroBasket tournament with 4.1 assists per game.
Personal life
Jeter is the younger brother of sprinter Carmelita Jeter, a two-time IAAF World Athletics Final gold medalist.
