Ethan John Luck (born October 16, 1978 in Long Beach, California) is a guitarist, photographer, and drummer who has played in many bands, most prominently, the ska band The O.C. Supertones and rock band Relient K

Luck is formerly the drummer of rock band Relient K.[1] He is also the cousin of Matt Wignall of Havalina. Luck has also made a part-time career as a studio musician working with such people as Aaron Sprinkle, Mark Lee Townsend, Joe Marlet, Neill King, Bill Stevenson, etc. He has played on albums for Kutless, Roper, Nikki Clan, Relient K and Last Tuesday, to name a few. On drums, he endorses Ddrum, Meinl Cymbals and Vic Firth Sticks.

Luck and fellow The O.C. Supertones alumnus Daniel Spencer ran Rebel Waltz Recording Co., a recording studio based in Franklin, Tennessee. Artists that recorded there included Flatfoot 56, August Burns Red, The Send, The Lonely Hearts and many others. The two also had a punk band called My Red Hot Nightmare that was short lived in Nashville. Luck continues his love of recording and recently engineered and produced Supertones singer Matt Morginsky for his first solo record.

It was announced on February 12, 2008, that Ethan would be the new drummer for pop punk band Relient K. The band made the announcement on their website and on the same day, Luck announced it on his personal website. He also posted a letter to Demon Hunter fans about his future in the band.[2] In August 2009, it was learned that Ethan, along with Don Clark, had both decided to depart as guitarists from Demon Hunter. Ethan and Don's schedule's with Relient K and Invisible Creature, respectively, made it hard to keep up with Demon Hunter and their other projects both.

It was also announced in 2012 that Ethan Luck has begun working on a new solo punk/ska/reggae project under the name Ethan Luck and the High Pressure System. The first single "Hey Mr. Pharisee" is currently available for download at http://ethanluck.bandcamp.com/.[3] [4]

On April 21, 2013, Luck posted on the Relient K Facebook page that he would no longer be with the band.[5]

Luck is a vegan and his wife is a vegetarian.[6]
