Estee Applauder

Michael Joyce (20th February 1969 – 2nd December 2009) was an Australian flamboyant drag artist and female impersonator known by the stage name Estee Applauder who died in a car accident. He was well known for his act at the Rose & Crown pub, The George and Dragon pub and other local British gay venues around Greenwich, London.
Michael Joyce had, just before his death, completed a major role in the film The Cost of Love directed by Carl Medland and shot on location in Greenwich.[1][2] Michael Joyce played the role of Sean, the friend and confidant of Dale played by Christopher Kelham.
Joyce died in a car accident while at home in Tasmania with his mother who was heavily injured.[3]
