Esposende (Portuguese pronunciation: [(ɨ)ʃpɔˈzẽd(ɨ)]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 95.4 km² and a total population of 34,625 inhabitants. The city itself has a population of 9,197.[1]
The municipality is composed of 15 parishes, and is located in Braga District.
The present Mayor is Fernando Couto Cepa, elected by the Social Democratic Party.
The municipal holiday is August 19.
