Esino Lario is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 60 km north of Milan and about 15 km northwest of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 772 and an area of 18.7 km².[1]
The municipality of Esino Lario contains the frazione (subdivision) of Cainallo, Bigallo and Ortanella.
Esino Lario borders the following municipalities: Cortenova, Lierna, Mandello del Lario, Parlasco, Pasturo, Perledo, Primaluna, Taceno, Varenna.
