Ernst Grissemann

Ernst Grissemann (born 18 February 1934 in Imst, Tyrol) is an Austrian television presenter, journalist and actor.

Grissemann was born in Imst, he joint radio in July 1954 as a news broadcaster and continuity announcer for Radio Luxembourg, when Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF) was launched in 1955 Grisseman joint and worked as an odd-job man but mostly as a Radio DJ for the national radio. In 1967 Grisseman was appointed radio director for Hitradio Ö3 by director general Gerd Bacher. In 1970 Grissemann commentated for Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest a job he would continue to for another twenty five contests, he commentated on the contest until 1998 with the exception of 1979 and 1990 were the only years Grissemann was unable to commentate.

Grissemann is the father of Christoph and Stefan.
