Erisbel Arruebarruena

Bárbaro Erisbel Arruebarruena Escalante (born May 25, 1990) is a Cuban baseball shortstop.

Arruebarruena was a member of the Cuban national baseball team in the 2011 Pan American Games[1] the 2013 World Baseball Classic, and the 2013 World Port Tournament.

In September 2013, Arruebarruena tried to defect from Cuba, and was barred from participating in the 53rd Cuban National Series as a result.[2] In November, he successfully defected from Cuba.[3]
