Sviatchenko suffered an ACL rupture in April 2011 and was injured throughout the season. Furthermore he missed the Danish Cup Final against FC Nordsjælland and the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Denmark.

In January 2012 he recovered and joined, with an unimpressed attitude, the squad in FC Midtjylland and played all the caps in last half of the season.

Personal life
