Eric Ato Sackey (born 20 August 1987 in Accra) is a Ghanaian football player currently playing for FC Dacia Chişinău.
Career
Eric Sackey born ( 20 August 1987 in Accra) is a Ghanaian footballer currently playing for FC Dacia Chişinău Moldovia. He started his career with Tema All Stars juvenile side where he played 7 and scored 3 goals which caught the attention of the head coach and led to his promotion to the senior team (the following season) where he played 18 games and scored 7. In 2007 -2008 season he went on loan to FC Olimpia Bălţi in Moldovian premier league from his parent club Tema All Stars where he played 14 games and scored 6 to help them escape relegation, after which he was permanently signed. In 2008-2009 season Tema Youth was promoted to Ghana Telecom premier league so they were need for a striker who will help them to stay at the top flight so they went in to loan him from FC Olimpia Bălţi to come back home and help them in that season where he played 18 and score 6, after one season in Ghana he went back to his parent club FC Olimpia Bălţi and in 2009-2010 season they sold him to their league rival Fc Dacia for undisclose fee, and they then loan him to Yangon United FC in the Myanmar National League.[1] Fc Yangon United in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myanmar_National_League for the rest of the season where he played 9 and score 6 .After the loan he came back to his parent club FC Olimpia Bălţi and in 2011-2012 FC Sfîntul Gheorghe loan him from FC Dacia Chişinău where he played 10 and score 7 to help them to escape relegation .In 2012-2013 season FC Zimbru Chișinău also loan him in the first half of the season from FC Dacia Chişinău, where he played 9 games and score 6, after he went back to his parent club FC Dacia Chişinău.
