Eric Comrie (born July 6, 1995) is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender. He was drafted 13th overall by the Tri-City Americans in the 2010 Western Hockey League (WHL) Bantam Draft,[1] and is currently playing in the WHL with the Americans. Comrie was selected by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2nd round (59th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

During the 2012-13 season he played with Team Canada to win a gold medal at the 2012 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament.[2] Leading up to the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, Comrie was rated as a top prospect.[3]

Personal

Comrie is the son of The Brick founder Bill Comrie, and the half-brother of NHLers Paul and Mike Comrie.[4] His younger brother, Ty, is playing hockey in the Western Hockey League.
