Eremitu (Hungarian: Nyárádremete, Hungarian pronunciation: [ɲaːraːdrɛmɛtɛ]) is a commune in Mureş County, Transylvania, Romania composed of five villages:
- Călugăreni / Mikháza
- Câmpu Cetăţii / Vármező
- Dămieni / Deményháza
- Eremitu/Nyárádremete
- Mătrici / Nyárádköszvényes
Demographics
The commune has an absolute Székely Hungarian majority. According to the 2002 Census it has a population of 3,872 of which 91.97% or 3,561 are Hungarian.
