Equity Bank (Tanzania), also referred to as Equity Bank Tanzania, is a commercial bank in Tanzania. It is one of the commercial banks licensed by the Bank of Tanzania, the country's banking regulator.[1][2] The bank is a member of the Equity Bank Group, headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, with subsidiaries in Kenya, Rwanda, Southern Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.[3]
