Envigado Fútbol Club is a professional Colombian football team based in Envigado, that currently plays in the Categoría Primera A. The club was founded October 14, 1989 and was the first Colombian team from the second division that was promoted to the Categoría Primera A in 1991. Ever since their original promotion, Envigado is the most consistent team in the league that has never achieved a championship or even the finals. They play their home games at the Polideportivo Sur stadium.
