Enis Gavazaj (born 21 March 1995) is a Kosovan-Albanian footballer who plays as a Midfielder for K.A.A. Gent in the Belgian Pro League and Albania national under-19 football team.[1]
Career
He started his youth career with most successful football team on Kosovo, FC Prishtina and on 8 August 2013 he signed for Belgium side K.A.A. Gent in the Belgian Pro League.[2]
Gent
He made his debut for K.A.A. Gent at age 18, on 26 January 2014 against Genk coming as a substitute in the 2nd minute of second half 's extra-time, in place of Yaya Soumahoro, match won by 1–2.[3]
International career
Gavazaj included in Foto Strakosha's squad Albania U-19 for their 2013 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualification.[4] In first match of the tournament he was an unused bench against Italy, lost by 3–0.[5] In next match against Belgium he included on starting line-up and on 26th minute he scored a long-rage goal from 39 metters, match won by 3–1.[6] [7]
After good performance with Albania U-19, he received a call-up by Albania U-21's coach Skënder Gega for match against Austria, valid for 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship qualification. He made his debut against Austria on 14 August 2013, were he came as a substitute on 65th minute in place of Herolind Shala and match finished in a loss 0–1.[8] He made another two appearances, against Spain on 9 September 2013, finished in a loss 4–0 and also against Bosnia and Herzegovina on 15 October 2013, finished in a loss 0–1.[9] [10]
He returned to Albania U-19 for match valid for the 2014 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualification against Greece on 12 November 2013, were he played full 90 minutes and match finished in a loss 1–0.[11]
