Football career
A product of Athletic Bilbao's famed youth academy, Lezama, Bóveda made his first-team – and La Liga – debut on 26 April 2009 in a 2–1 home win against Racing de Santander, coming on as a 70th-minute substitute for David López.[1]
He spent the vast majority of his spell with the Basque registered with the reserves, in the third division. In the 2011 summer he signed for neighbouring SD Eibar, in the same level.[2]
