Enamine Ltd is a chemical company headquartered in Kiev, Ukraine. Located in Eastern Europe, it is a provider of high throughput screening compounds, chemical building blocks and fine chemicals. It also offers integrated services of custom synthesis, lead optimization and molecular modelling to support customers in the design of new drugs and other bioactive products.

Enamine focuses on three main technologies: combinatorial chemistry, chemoinformatics, organic synthesis research.

History

Enamine was founded initially in 1990 as a spin-off from Institute of Organic Chemistry Kiev, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine but later developed into a world's largest suppliers of chemical compounds for biological screening. The company has well established relationships with Ukrainian academic community and conducts numerous basic research programs [1] in partnership with the Research and Development Center for Chemistry and Biology at National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv.
