Empuriabrava (Ampuriabrava in Spanish) is one of the largest marinas in the world. It is located on the coast of Girona, the Costa Brava, (Catalonia, Spain).

Empuriabrava was originally built on a swamp, and was transformed into a touristic community with original planning in 1964 and completion in 1975. The town has more than 40 km of canals and a seasonal, summer population of around 80,000. The Greco-Roman acropolis of Sant Martí d'Empúries is nearby.

Its aerodrome (ICAO-code LEAP), immediately to the North of the town, Is the home of Skydive Empuriabrava, Europe's largest and busiest Skydiving Centre which was purchased by Skydive Dubai, owned by the Crown Prince of Dubai Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, in December 2012
