Emma Elizabeth Hiddleston (born 1986)[1] is an English film, television, and stage actress. She attended The Dragon School in Oxford[2] and later the University of Cambridge.[3] She played Badge in the 2008 British film Unrelated, Miss Heasman in the 2011 London West End production of the Simon Gray play Butley with Dominic West,[4] and had a short recurring role on the television series Holby City. In 2009, she was nominated for a Stage Award for Best Actress for her role in the play Precious Little Talent.
Early life
Hiddleston was born to parents Diana Patricia (née Servaes), a former stage manager and arts administrator, and James Norman Hiddleston, a scientist in physical chemistry who was the managing director of a pharmaceutical company. Her father is from Greenock, Scotland and her mother is from Suffolk, England. She is the youngest of three children, Sarah (eldest), a journalist in India, and Tom (middle), is also an actor. She was brought up in Wimbledon, in her early years, and later in Oxford. Her parents divorced when she was young. She went on to act at the Dragon School in Oxford, then continued on to the University of Cambridge.
