Emina Cunmulaj (Albanian: Emina Çunmulaj, Serbo-Croatian: Емина Чунмуљај / Emina Čunmuljaj'; Albanian pronunciation: [ɛˈmina tʃunˈmulaj]), (born September 12, 1984) is an American model of Albanian ancestry.[1]
Biography
Cunmulaj was born in Michigan, United States to Albanian parents, but moved to Montenegro (a former republic of Yugoslavia) at the age of four in 1988.[2] Cunmulaj speaks fluent Albanian.[3]
She was discovered by Elite Model Management after becoming a semi-finalist in the Elite Model Look Yugoslavia 2001 contest and winning the Elite Model Look 2001 contest. In the same year, she signed a contract with Elite.[2] She resided in Montenegro until the age of seventeen, and then returned to the United States.
Cunmulaj is managed in New York City by Marilyn Model Management. She was married to Bekim Lulanji.[2]
