"Emily Glenister" is a British television actress from London, UK, best known for her role in the 2012 series finale of Tracy Beaker Returns.

Early life

Emily Glenister was born to actor and actress Amanda Redman and Robert Glenister in 1987.[1][2] She took up acting from a young age, and attended her mother's drama school: The Artist's Theatre School every Saturday. She later went on to become a member of the National Theatre in London, like her father Robert Glenister.

Career

Television debut

In 2000, Glenister made her television debut and landed a role in comedy-drama At Home with the Braithwaites, which her mother Amanda was already starring in. She appeared in Series 1, Episode 3 and later made a second appearance in Series 2, Episode 1 as Emily Braithwaite.

2007- Present

In April 2007, she began rehearsing "London Calling", with her Saturday drama school and in October 2007, she began training at the Old Vic Theatre School in Bristol. In 2011, she appeared in an episode of television series New Tricks as Stephanie Parr.[3] A year later, she made her children's television debut in the final episode of children's television drama Tracy Beaker Returns as Melanie. However, she will not appear in the spin-off the Dumping Ground.The Dumping Ground.
