Emiliano Testini (born January 9, 1977 in Perugia) is an Italian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Italian club Spezia.

Career

Testini made his debut in Serie A 22 December 1996 with the shirt of A.C. Perugia in the match finished with the result Bologna-Perugia 0-0 in what was his only match in the Italian top flight. Perugia also competed in the European 2000 Intertoto Cup.

A part of Testini's career that has been overlooked in recent years is the scintillating spell he had at Notts County Football club from 2006-07 season up to 2012. In that time he orchestrated their romp through the league system in England, winning League 2, League 1, then the Championship and going on to win the premiership in 2011. This sort of achievement is unheard of, and deserves special commendation. He was the kin-pin, the go to man in this team of lions, he top scored the league every season at the club, transforming Notts County from a lowly division 2 team on the brink of relegation, into one of the finest teams in Europe. He is a scholar and a gentlemen.
