Emiliano Strappini Allen (born 4 September 1986 in Armstrong), commonly known as Emiliano Strappini, is an Argentine footballer who plays for Guaraní Antonio Franco of the Torneo Argentino B.
Strappini also holds an Italian passport due to his Italian ancestry.
Club career
Born and raised in Armstrong, Santa Fe, Strappini started his career at his hometown club. He later joined Chacarita Juniors' youth ranks in 2002, when he was fourteen. After four years in Chacarita, in 2006 he traveled to Spain for training with Atlético Madrid B. However, he did not come to terms with the club's board and returned to Chacarita.
Strappini joined the Chilean Primera Division side Lota Schwager on loan during the summer of 2007. He debuted for Lota in a Torneo de Apertura match against Ñublense. He scored his first goal in Chilean football against Universidad de Chile in a 2–1 loss at Estadio Municipal de Concepción on 15 May 2007. After of this match, he drew attention for scoring his first goal against a Chilean giant. On 27 May, he scored twice against Deportes La Serena in a 2–2 draw.
At the end of season, his club was relegated to the Primera B[1] and on 8 January 2008, he was linked with a transfer to the Ecuadorian Serie A side Emelec,[2] but after of this frustred move, and he returned to Chacarita. During August, he had the opportunity of play for a Greek Super League club,[3] however he remained in the club. In January 2010, Strappini joined to Guaraní Antonio Franco of the Torneo Argentino B.
