Emergis Inc. is a Canadian e-Business company dealing with interactions between companies and electronic commerce, now owned by Telus.
The company is linked to the merger of Bell Canada's Electronic Business Solutions and MPACT Immedia (founded in 1988) into BCE Emergis in 1998 and spun off as an independent unit on May 6, 2006. Renamed as Emergis on December 1, 2004, and bought by Telus in 2008, the company is based in Longueuil, Quebec.
Shortly after Emergis' acquisition by Telus, Telus split the company into three divisions -- Telus Health Solutions (for health care institutions), Telus Assyst Real Estate (for realtors), and Telus Financial Services (for financial-related affairs of businesses).
