Elvin J. Cassell (December 3, 1896 August 1970) was an American football coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Cassell was the head football coach for the Jamestown Jimmies located in Jamestown, North Dakota. He held that position for 18 seasons, from 1930 until 1953. His coaching record at Jamestown was 64 wins, 49 losses and 13 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #2 at Jamestown in total wins and #5 at the school in winning percentage (.560).[1]
