Elton is a village and civil parish in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees and ceremonial county of County Durham, England. It is situated a short distance to the west of Stockton-on-Tees.
Population
As Elton is too small to be individually known in the Census data, you can only really look at its population in terms of the parish it exists in which is Stockton-on-Tees. In the 2001, the census data showed that Stockton-on-Tees had a total population of 178,408.[1]
