Elizabeth McKay Jenkins (born February 23, 1975) is an American fashion designer, business woman, mother and wife, who was born, raised and educated in the New York metropolitan area. Her family was originally from Tarboro, North Carolina.[1]
Elizabeth attended the Pomfret School in Pomfret, Connecticut, St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, and Parsons The New School for Design in New York City, New York. After graduating from Parsons The New School for Design, Elizabeth began a career working with fashion houses, including TiBi, a New York clothing company founded by designer Amy Smilovic. She worked at C.J. Laing and, ultimately, co-founded the line T.S. Dixin (which she named after her nephews - Taylor, Spencer, and Dixon).[2][3][4]
Clothing
While the company may produce many styles, it is primarily known for its Scotland Wrap Dress[5] and Elizabeth Ruffled Blouse. The label has also found a following among the country club set.[6]
