Elizabeth Coulson is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 17th district where she has served since 1997. She ran for the Illinois's 10th congressional district seat being vacated by Mark Kirk, but lost to Bob Dold in the February 2nd, 2010, primary election. She currently backs Hamilton Chang as the Republican candidate for the Illinois House of Representatives 17th district.[1]
