Elisa Bertino

Elisa Bertino is a professor of computer science at Purdue University and is acting as the research director of CERIAS, the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security, an institute attached to Purdue University.[1] Professor Bertino's research interest include a variety of topics mainly in data privacy and security. She has authored or co-authored more than 500 research articles published in international refereed conferences and journals.[2] She also authored, co-authored, or edited 19 books.[3] Professor Bertino received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Pisa on 1980 and she is a fellow of IEEE[4] and Association for Computing Machinery (since 2003).[5]
